Hailey Baldwin is no stranger to stringing fans along with her street style, but her latest look has some folks in knots.

The model stepped out in NYC over the weekend wearing a fluffy yellow shearling coat from Bottega Veneta finished with long, trailing tassel trim and priced at a whopping $9,450.

Despite the designer origins and bold, eye-catching hue, it seems some of Baldwin’s fans weren’t too keen on her furry fringed outerwear, which she accessorized with a matching crop top and Coors Light cap.

“Hailey said I wanna be a mop today,” one person tweeted, along with side-by-side images of the star and the stringy cleaning tool.

“Hailey’s outfit is cute when you cut off them thick skipping ropes at the bottom of that coat,” a second person wrote, while a third chimed in with, “Hailey, girl. You know I love you. But honey, what the f—k is this car wash rag looking ass coat doing on you?”

The pricey fashion piece also drew comparisons to noodles, french fries and string cheese.

The real question, of course, is how Baldwin managed to keep her floor-sweeping coat clean while strolling down the city streets.
