Hailey Baldwin has unfollowed former Hillsong pastor Carl Lentz on Instagram after he was fired for “moral failures.”

Lentz, who baptized Baldwin’s husband Justin Bieber in a bathtub five years ago, revealed Thursday in an Instagram post he had been “unfaithful” in his marriage to wife Laura.

“This failure is on me, and me alone and I take full responsibility for my actions,” Lentz said in the lengthy message. “I now begin a journey of rebuilding trust with my wife, Laura and my children and taking real time to work on and heal my own life and seek out the help that I need. I am deeply sorry for breaking the trust of many people who we have loved serving and understand that this news can be very hard and confusing for people to hear and process.”

Last week, Hillsong’s founding pastor, Brian Houston, confirmed Lentz’s firing in an email to staffers and church-goers, according to Religion News Service, calling out “leadership issues and breaches of trust” among the reasons for Lentz’s ouster.

“I know this will come as a shock to you, but please know that this action was not taken lightly and was done in the best interests of everyone, including Pastor Carl,” Houston said in the message.

Lentz, who said Thursday he and his family “don’t know what this next chapter will look like,” still follows Baldwin, 23, as well as a slew of other celebs on Instagram.
