GREGGS has extended its opening hours across 300 shops – but shoppers have been stung with price increases.

The bakery giant announced hundreds of its shops across the country now stay open until 8pm in its latest financial results.

It added that it will keep even more of its shops open until later by the end of 2022.

It didn't confirm how many – or which – branches would have their opening hours extended, but we've asked for more information and will update this article when we know more.

Greggs currently has 2,239 stores and you can find out your nearest shop's opening times by using the chain's store locator tool.

Once you type in your postcode, it will list the closest stores – and their opening times.
