There are gods among us. At least that’s what the fantasy drama, American Gods, wants everyone to believe. The exciting series that airs on the Starz network, is based on the 2001 novel of the same name created by Neil Gaiman.

American Gods, follows the story of an ex-convict named Shadow, played by Ricky Whittle, who becomes the personal bodyguard of a mysterious man named, Mr. Wednesday, played by Ian McShane after being released from prison. Over the course of their journey, Shadow, who is also dealing with the death of his unfaithful wife, unknowingly becomes entangled in a war between the old gods and the new gods while he also questions if they even exist.
