Angelina Jolie and Salma Hayek are staying eternally vigilant.

The two stars of the new Marvel superheroes flick “Eternals,” along with cast members Gemma Chan and Lauren Ridloff, were last-minute no-shows at Elle’s 2021 Women in Hollywood event on Tuesday night due to potential exposure to one person who had tested positive for COVID-19.

Elle bigwig Nina Garcia revealed that the quartet of actresses, who were slated to be honored that evening, were not in attendance, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“Those superheroes are now in super isolation,” Garcia quipped in her opening remarks.

A Disney spokesperson confirmed the no-shows with a statement that read, “Earlier today we were made aware of a possible exposure to COVID-19, and while all of our talent have tested negative, out of an abundance of caution, we are pivoting to virtual appearances rather than in-person events.”

All four had walked the red carpet at the movie’s world premiere that took place at the El Capitan Theater in Los Angeles the previous evening.

Other stars from the Marvel flick who also attended the huge event included Rita Ora, Taika Waititi, Kit Harington, Kumail Nanjiani and Brian Tyree Henry.

Jolie delighted the paparazzi with her plus-one, or rather plus-five, as she brought along five of her six kids (only son Pax was absent). The whole group dressed in vintage looks plucked from their mother’s clearly enormous closet.

The big-budget film, which opens on Nov. 4, follows the Eternals, a race of immortal beings with superhuman powers who have long lived secretly on Earth and now reunite to battle the evil Deviants.
