Love & Hop-Hop stars Erica Mena and Safaree Samuels met on VH1’s Scared Famous in 2017. Though they were just friends at first, the next year they reconnected and embarked on a whirlwind romance. Both the model and the rapper had been in high profile relationships before with Bow Wow and Nicki Minaj respectively, and it appeared that they’d finally found their perfect match when Samuels proposed after one month of dating on Christmas Eve 2018. The pair tied the knot on October 7, 2019, and welcomed their daughter, Safire Majesty Samuels, on February 2, 2020.

Now, it appears that the duo might be headed for a split.

Since getting married, Mena and Samuels have showcased their relationship online and through their respective OnlyFans accounts. However, Samuels’ outbursts led many fans to believe their relationship wasn’t as happy as it may have appeared. Now, it looks like the pair may be headed for divorce.

On Feb. 23, the Brooklyn-born rapper shared a now-deleted tweet. He wrote, “I mean this from the bottom of my heart getting married was 1 of my BIGGEST mistakes and it will never happen again. I’m walking away before I End up in jail over some dumb sh*t. Nobody is worth my freedom!!!” The Shade Room captured the tweet before it was deleted.

Obviously, that is a horrific thing to write about anyone you supposedly love especially your wife. Mena has since responded. “Since you always run to social media like a little girl I might as well join in,” the 33-year-old wrote. “I absolutely agree with you on this. You are the most selfish, vain and inconsiderate person. And not just with me but your only daughter!”

Since then Mena has vowed to keep her personal life off of social media and Samuels has not yet responded.
