Sweet toothed fans, this one’s for you.
We all love the odd Mars bar now and again, but what if you could enjoy the decadent Mars taste over and over again – perhaps on toast?
Aldi is spreading the love and launching the brand-new Mars Bar in a Jar (350g) spread for a sweet £1.99 and it’s available in store from today August 12.
The spread is made up of the iconic, delicious taste of Mars that shoppers know and love, it's also set to rival big name brands including Nutella.
The spread can be enjoyed in plenty of ways – on top of toast, slathered on top of sweet strawberries, piled on top of crumpets, or simply straight off the spoon, because we aren't judging – the possibilities really are endless.
The Mars Bar in a Jar consists of delicious caramel swirls, nougat and milk chocolate – too irresistible not to try.
Just like any Specialbuy at Aldi, shoppers will need to act fast if they want to buy the new spread, because once they’re gone, they’re gone.
Aldi also offers the much loved Belmont Biscuits Smooth Biscuit Spread (£1.79, 400g) or Belmont Biscuits Crunchy Biscuit Spread (£1.79, 400g), which taste just like Biscoff.
With shoppers on Aldi Shoppers UK confessing – ‘the spread is so good’, ‘have it and it’s on toast it's lush’ ‘just like Biscoff’.
The launch news was broken online by popular food blogger, NewfoodsUK.
Social media users quickly took to the comment section to express their delight at the new product.
One said: "I'll have to try that"
Another stated: "Omg I need"
A couple of users were quick to tag friends, hoping to get in on the Mars in a Jar action as soon as it's released.
