A WOMAN has shared her amazing kitchen transformation which she achieved on a tight budget.

She decided it was finally time to update her 80s style kitchen, which had dated wooden cupboards and red tiles.

Using some DIY skills, she painted over the tiles using £15 paint from Wilkos, in shade Flintstone, and covered her cupboard doors in sticky back plastic.

Sharing before-and-after photos on Facebook group Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips New, she wrote: “Before and after kitchen on a budget

“Tiles are painted and cupboards were fablon

“Temporary till we can afford a new kitchen.”

And loving the new look, she added on Instagram: “I am sooooo excited for xmas!”

People have praised her chic new kitchen, asking her how she created it  on a budget.
