Comfortable sneakers aren't revolutionary. They're a necessity. But Jennifer Garner, who often opts for simple athleisure looks, just wore a pair in a revolutionary color we absolutely need.

For the past couple of months, Garner has been wearing baby blue Veja sneakers. Vejas are famous for a few reasons: They have a reputation for being comfortable, they typically cost under $150, and they were selling out at record speeds after Meghan Markle was spotted in a pair back in 2018, the first time she had worn sneakers as a royal.

Now, the sneakers are always in stock at Nordstrom and Amazon, but Garner's new favorite colorway of the Veja Sdu sneaker has faced a similar fate to Markle's popular Esplar sneakers and are sold out almost everywhere. The blue sneaker trend seems to be slowly taking over, as Katie Holmes was spotted in a pair that look very similar to Garner's earlier this month. And if you want a celeb-approved pair, Veja has a handful of options. You can be like Holmes and Garner and go for an unexpected blue if you're tired of your basic white pair. Considering Garner's pair is sold out, there's no doubt these darker options will be gone before you know it.

But if that's too much of a statement, there are plenty of Vejas that are extremely neutral, like the Esplar sneaker. And if you want to go all the way to the other side of the extreme, there's a pastel option that not only features a baby blue tip, but also details in light pink, green, and gray.

There will always be a hot sneaker, but right now, these Vejas seem to be everywhere. And with 2021 looking up, we all need a sneaker that looks cute with any spring outfit but allows us to walk around as long as we want. After all, walking is one of the only safe things we can do right now. So we might as well walk around looking like Jennifer Garner.
