A PLUS-SIZE woman has revealed that she did an epic Sainsbury’s haul and was left very impressed with her new purchases.

Poppy Adams, a size 22 fashion fan from Essex, took a trip to the popular supermarket and stocked up on dresses, skirts, t-shirts and bodysuits for summer. 

Taking to TikTok, where she posts under the username @poppyadams92, Poppy modelled her new outfits, as she proudly showed off the ‘dress of the summer’ and an £8 Skims dupe which totally covered her ‘big belly’. 

The fashionista shared her clip with the caption ‘Love me a Tu clothing haul’ and said: “It's that time again. I went back to Tu clothing, I got more clothes, let's try them on.”

Firstly, Poppy tried on a lovely green dress, as she explained: “Firstly, something I know so many of you are gonna love, it's the little summer dress of dreams.

“I do say this often, I'm not a ditzy print girl, unless it's a specific ditzy print, and this, I think is really cute.

“It’s giving summer, it's giving frolicking in a field, it's giving picnic.

“It will fit any bust size, which is what I love about it.

“And also, if you don't love the tops of your arms, it's covering it, but it's not tight – they're so roomy.”

Poppy then tried on an orange floral skirt, as she added: “Lord knows I love me a slip skirt, this is no exception.

“I actually think this is better on, than it was on the hanger.

“I took a chance and it paid off.

“Nice elasticated waist – some slip skirts just cling in the wrong places.

“No, I don't actually think this is doing that. I'm not mad at this at all. I'm into this. I'm into it.”

Poppy then held up a bright blue bodysuit, as she explained: “I did also buy a few tees and bodysuits, so let's just try those on.

“First of all, I bought this blue one because I bought a Skims one very similar and I want to compare the two.

“The bodies on these are actually long enough for me to do up.

“Oh, my God, I wanted to show you how long these are in the body, because I have a big old belly and a big bum and this does up and doesn't pop open when you're sitting down, which is very important.

“I have a few of these and I love them. 

“Also, let me just show you – this is the Skims one, they're so bloody similar.

“I'm not even gonna lie to you, this material [Tu] actually feels nicer and this [Skims] is probably quadruple the price.”

Poppy then tried on a beautiful skirt, as she continued: “For £8 I don't think you can go wrong.

“Floaty, perfect for hot weather, my favourite is the little button detail all the way down.

“This is a 7.5/8 out of 10 for me.”

Poppy then tried on a gorgeous wrap dress, as she noted: “I am sorry but the print on this and the quality.

“It literally feels like beautiful linen, it's £22.

“It's a true wrap dress as well so you tie it up here and then the bottom inside.

“The thing with this dress is the way you could dress it up and dress it down.

“I absolutely love the geometric pattern, the shape, it just makes me happy to look at – it's giving me serotonin.”

Following this, we then saw Poppy trying on a purple skirt, as she shared: “I love this.

“All my girlies out there who wanna wear skirts but feel a bit conscious around the belly region, this is such a great option.

“It’s got a nice busy pattern, we've also got these ruffles which just fall in the right place.

“The back is elasticated. You've also got the lilac, the purple, the orange, a bit of beige, black, so you can put on so many different tops with this skirt. I'm in love.”

Finally, Poppy then modelled her new green top, as she revealed: “And then lastly, we've just got another slim fit tee.

“They are quite a nice length, but obviously I would tuck this in.

“I love their sleeve length and the boobies are looking rather fantastic.

“And t-shirts are £5. I'm also really enjoying the primary block colours, because you're still getting that pop of colour but they're not a busy pattern.

“Tu clothing just continually smashes it out the park and ensures that the vast majority of their clothes go up to a size 24 as well so the inclusivity is getting better.” 

Poppy shared her clip just 22 hours ago, but it has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly amassed 33,300 views. 

It has 2,569 likes, 91 comments, 193 saves and 30 shares.

Social media users were stunned at the new Tu clothing and many were eager to express this in the comments. 

One person said: “Ok I want all of them.”

Another added: “Another purchase made thanks to Poppy and her hauls. Thanks lovely!”

A third commented: “Love all of these, you look stunning!”
