HAVE YOU ever pulled off the bed covers and realized how horribly stained your mattress is?

Before you decide to throw the whole thing away, a professional housekeeper revealed how you can get it looking brand new with zero effort.

"I'm a housekeeper and I'm going to show you how to remove stains from your mattress with things you already own," TikTok star Vanessa Amaro revealed in her latest video.

She explained that you'll need a toothbrush (preferably one you don't use anymore) and a spray bottle.

You'll put two cups of water in the spray bottom, as well as two cups of hydrogen peroxide, five drops of dish soap, and if you want, five drops of essential oils.

Once you mix it, spray the concoction directly over the spot and "gently brush it out."

After a few seconds of brushing, blot out the stain with a cloth.

You'll want to repeat the brushing and blotting until the stain has completely disappeared.

After you've gotten rid of all the stains, you should vacuum your mattress to get rid of dust mites and dead skin cells, which accumulate over time.

But that's not all – you also have to check the state of your pillows to make sure you get the best night's sleep possible.

Previously, a savvy mom showed how she determines if her pillows are ready to be replaced.

TikTok star Carolina Mccauley revealed there's a VERY easy (and kind of gross) way to tell if it's "expired."

She said in a video: "Check if your pillows have expired by folding them and holding them for 30 seconds.

"If it springs back, it's still good."

And if it doesn't, that means it's probably being weighed down with dead skin and sweat.
