IF you live somewhere with extremely hot summers and colder winters then you know the pain of having seasonal wardrobes.

For the fall months, you can incorporate pieces from both seasons by layering your summer looks for the cooler weather.

Instagram user Val, who operates the account Fits and Bits, shared her top three easy ways to elevate any outfit.

For her first tip, the fashion expert recommended adding layers to your look.

"Throwing on a bolero, this is a base fit. It’s cute but just a little boring, just a plain tank and cargoes. But if you add the bolero sweater, I think it really completes the fit," she said, demonstrating the hack.

She also advised viewers to incorporate sweaters into their look, even if it's too hot to wear them.

The styling expert told her followers that she ties sweaters, usually striped, with most of her outfits, including dresses.

She also suggested changing your hair to match the look, or adding frilly socks to dress it up a bit.

For her final recommendation, Val discussed transitioning your summer looks into fall by adding a button up to your outfit.
