A FARMER has tried out a popular pest control method in her garden but she was left less than impressed with the results.
The green-thumbed influencer demonstrated how to use the top-rated Amazon product.
In her video, TikTok user Kasey (@tattooedaudhder) explained that one of her gardens is "completely overtaken with pests."
The TikToker decided to test one of Amazon’s top-rated natural organic pest control products to see if it could salvage her plants.
Showing her followers the yellow sticky traps, she said: "These are to attract cucumber beetles, gnats, stuff like that."
The pest control traps are available in a pack of 10 for $6 from Amazon.
"Let’s see what organic and natural gardening products really work once pests overtake your garden," Kasey captioned her clip.
After leaving the sticky traps in her garden, Kasey showed viewers the results.
"As you can tell it did a pretty good job catching the gnats but they lost their stickiness really quickly and they didn’t attract any of the cucumber beetles," she said.
The farmer continued: "We got a lot of flies but all of the cucumber beetles are pretty much ones that I slapped with it, getting my Serena Williams on."

Kasey pointed out some additional problems with the organic pest control traps.
"It lost its stickiness really quick, it caught some of my bees," the content creator explained.
She added: "I had to use some extra holders that I had on hand, some metal ones, and it took forever to get them installed."
Kasey concluded: "I’d say the sticky trap experiment was a fail."
In the comments section, one viewer pointed out another potential issue with the sticky traps.
"Yeah those sticky traps would be useless in a matter of hours with our dust storms here in New Mexico," the TikTok user wrote.
