But rather than a juicy pout, Basia Query, from Las Vegas, the US, was left with lips so swollen, she had to be rushed to the hospital after suffering a brutal allergic reaction.


Mortified, the young beauty lover took to TikTok to reveal the shocking aftermath, which saw her top and bottom lip almost triple in size.

At first, things seemed to go as normal – and there was nothing to worry about, as Basia had seen the beauty expert before and hadn't had any issues.

The pout was slightly red and a little plump, as she took a mirror selfie happy with the final results.

But little did she know things would soon take a sharp turn and she'd be left with lips so gigantic, many social media users even compared Basia to the Monsters Inc. villain, Fungus.

After taking the internet by storm, the beauty lover uploaded a follow-up video where she explained what had happened.

''I was allergic to the topical cream; it was Lidocaine – I've never used it before.

''I've gotten them done twice before – same girl, same Hyaluron pen.

Almost two days later, Basia still hasn't recovered – although the swelling has reduced significantly, her lips are still bruised ''all over''.

Aghast at the fail, TikTok viewers flocked to comments to share the horror.

''Hyaluron pen?! That’s the first mistake. those aren’t FDA approved or monitored,'' one wrote.
