OVER the last few years, Holly Willoughby has become the ultimate style icon – and not just because she's the face of Marks and Spencer.

In fact, it was Holly's daily outfit selfies that REALLY got people talking about her style and now, it seems Heart FM DJ Amanda Holden is taking a leaf out of the This Morning presenter's fashion books.

Amanda, 48, has also started taking morning selfies just before going live on air to co-host her radio breakfast show.

And some of the mum's outfits, labels and poses are remarkably similar to Holly's.

Despite listeners unable to actually see Amanda on air, the presenter's wardrobe consists of a mix of designer and high-street pieces, with the host having worn the likes of Topshop, Zara and Whistles.

Much like mum-of-three Holly, Amanda is a big fan of floral midi dresses, retro style mini skirts paired with blouses and – Holly's signature style – denim boiler suits.

It's hard to compete with Holly's fashion status and it's no secret that the 38-year-old has made a huge impact on British fashion over the last few years.

Dubbed "the Holly Willoughby effect", pretty much everything the presenter wears, sells out.

Last year, followers admitted they were "counting down the hours" until her latest Marks and Spencer collection dropped online, with an animal print midi dress flying off the shelves within hours.

When Holly wore a pair of lace-up hiker boots while presenting I'm A Celeb last year, fans flooded the brand's Instagram account, begging to know when they would be restocked.

And when the "Nanette" boots by retailer Grenson finally returned to the e-shelves, Holly fans were left in pure shock when they sold out – again – in a matter of minutes.

Priced at £265, the boots were rather high end, but when it comes to Holly's affordable high-street looks – favourites of which include Mango, Topshop and Oasis – shoppers are often sent into a frenzy, with some of the star's outfits selling for triple on eBay.

Despite Amanda not yet having quite the same effect on sales, she's not far behind, with several of the presenter's styles having sold out following an outfit post on Instagram.

And with Amanda having only recently started her outfit selfies, could we be witnessing a new face of British fashion emerge?
