In early November, Insider reported that three women came forward, alleging that they had sex with Dave Portnoy and that the encounters turned violent. All three women claim that the “frightening and humiliating experiences that have taken a toll on their mental health,” with two of the women stating that Dave Portnoy filmed them without permission. One even claimed that she was suicidal after the sexual encounter that she had with Dave Portnoy, saying “It hurt and I was literally screaming in pain.”
The women have all used pseudonyms, and Dave Portnoy wasted no time in refuting the claims, taking to social media and stating that the women’s claims are the product of “cancel culture.” This isn’t the first sex scandal that Dave Portnoy has been involved in, but considering how serious these claims are, it could be that this scandal is the one that really damages his career.
