After months of scandals, Tristan Thompson is clearing up rumors.
This Wednesday, July 31, the Cleveland Cavaliers star took to Twitter to deny claims he was on vacation in Jamaica with ex Jordan Craig and their 2-year-old son Prince.
“I have spent the last few months training for my upcoming nba season and making sure that I am in the best shape possible,” he wrote. “I have not been on vacations at all this summer and the current rumors spreading are 100% false,” he added.
He also took the opportunity to deny other claims about him and Craig, 28, including that he cheated on her with ex Khloe Kardashian.
“Also, when I met Khloe I was SINGLE,” Thompson, 28, continued. “The negative comments that are constantly being directed towards her are unnecessary. She does not deserve all this backlash for my wrong doings.”
Thompson’s rant came weeks after Craig accused Kardashian, 35, of romancing Thompson while Craig was pregnant with his child.
In court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Craig alleged Thompson cheated on her with a woman in 2016, while she was pregnant, and then dumped her to embark in a very public relationship with that woman. Fans know Kardashian and Thompson went public with their love around that time.
After Craig’s claims, social media haters began slamming Kardashian as a homewrecker, prompting her to release a statement apologizing to Craig.
“This is my truth! The truth I believed and trusted. If for any reason this is NOT in fact the truth, I am so completely and utterly sorry that TRISTAN and his inner circle would lie on something like this!” she wrote in an Instagram Story post. “I pray my truth is in-fact that. Lord knows I pray but now, I really don’t know what to believe. Truthfully, from the deepest parts of my soul I am sorry! I’m sorry for any pain that has been created either way.”
Defending Kardashian in his recent Twitter rant, Thompson wrote: “Both Khloé and Jordan have been nothing but great mothers to my kids.”
After accusing him of cheating on her, Craig slammed Thompson for allegedly depriving their son of a lavish life while spending all his money on Kardashian, with whom he shares 1-year-old daughter True. A judge them demanded Thompson pay Craig $40,000 a month in child support.
Radar readers know Kardashian and Thompson have been dating on-and-off since 2016. The two broke up around one year ago when Thompson cheated on Kardashian while she was pregnant. They later reconciled, but called it quits again earlier this year, when he was caught kissing former Kardashian-Jenner BFF Jordyn Woods.
