AceShowbizTerrence Howard unveiled his Hollywood Walk of Fame star right next to his TV wife Taraji P. Henson‘s pavement plaque on Tuesday, September 24.

The “Empire” star was joined by his real-life wife Mira Park and their two young children at the ceremony, where the actor was overcome with emotion as he gazed at his name on the sidewalk.

“Because my name is written in stone in Hollywood, as long as there is a Hollywood Boulevard, Terrence Howard will still stand. I just want to say thank you, thank you, thank you for all of this.”

Howard and his family were joined by filmmaker pal Malcolm D. Lee, Evan Ross and actor Garrett Hedlund at the ceremony.

Howard’s star is the Walk of Fame’s 2,674th.
