Snoop Dogg has revealed that he will be releasing a new song, a collaboration with country icon Willie Nelson, in “a couple of weeks.”

Snoop revealed the news about the collaboration to Ebro Darden on Beats 1.

“That’s my big brother, Willie Nelson. The reason we’re gonna make this record is because black and white matters right now. The love we have for each other,” he said and added that music is a unifier between races.

“It’s not about color, it’s about love, it’s about the appreciation of humanity. I love you as a person Willie, I love your music … As Snoop, I love you and I want to work with you,” he said. “When you build that brotherhood, the color is out the window.”

Snoop did not reveal the title but said the track is a reflection of the times as people around the world are coming together in support of Black Lives Matter following the deaths of Black individuals George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery.

Snoop and Nelson last teamed up in 2009 on “My Medicine.”
