Most of us cannot live without our smartphones, but it turns out that Robbie Williams went without one for 14 years.
The Let Me Entertain You singer has revealed that he got rid of his phone back in 2006 because he did not live having one.
However, the 46 year old now owns a phone again, and revealed in an Instagram live last week that his wife Ayda Field is not keen on how much time he is spending staring at the screen.

The former Take That singer said: “I have a phone now, because I didn't have a phone for a long time. Last night my wife said, "You're on your phone too much," and she's right.
The star, who has in the past struggled with drugs and alcohol dependency, went on to explain that the technological gadget had become his new addiction.
He said, in the lat-night Instagram Live that was viewed by The Sun: “So now I've got to get off my phone, even though I'm on it now, and then I've got to find out what I'm now going to be addicted to, my new addiction.
“As long as it's not pills or booze or powders, I don't care. There has to be something. I put one fire out and another comes up.”
Robbie then went on to admit that he lets the trolls get to him, saying: “I read the comments and they affect me.”
The performer and his wife Ayda are proud parents to four beautiful children; Theodora, seven, Charlton, five, 20 months and four-month-old baby Beau.
Although Robbie may be exposed to social media comments, Ayda has recently ruled out exposing their children to the public eye by having a reality show focused on the family.

She toldThe Sun: “I would never say never to it and it's been brought up to us before. But right now our privacy and protecting the kids is important to us. So it's not on the deck yet.
“The kids are not even old enough to know what the ramifications of that might be.

“You have to take all that on, the good and the bad. I don't want to put them in that position.”
