Kate Wright and Rio Ferdinand have tied the knot after almost three years together.

OK! online can exclusively reveal that the happy couple, who began dating in 2017, said “I do” in front of friends and family in Turkey.

In our exclusive image, Kate, 28, looks beautiful on her big day as she married Rio, 40, in the sunshine on a beach at the D Maris Bay Hotel in Marmaris.

Kate looked sensational in her ivory fishtail-style wedding dress, which featured intricate diamanté and lace detailing.

Her dress featured thin spaghetti straps and a fitted bodice, as it showed off her incredible figure.

She accessorised her gorgeous dress with diamond stud earrings and a matching bracelet on her right wrist. The beautiful bride had her blonde hair down in loose waves and wore a veil, which fell to the floor and her makeup was as always, picture perfect.

Kate’s smile matched that of her new husband Rio who looked handsome in a three-piece suit with a white boutonnière and black loafer shoes. The loved-up pair put their arms around each other’s waist in their first wedding photo while Rio’s gold ring could be seen on his hand.

The pair posed for their wedding picture against a stunning backdrop of the ocean, with lush greenery and hills in the distance.

According to Daily Sabah, the Mayor of Marmaris, Mehmet Oktay, who officiated the ceremony, said: "Both the couple and the guests told me that they enjoyed Marmaris a lot. Ferdinand said they will visit Marmaris in the years to come."

As well as a number of close friends and family, the pair were also joined by guests of honour – Rio’s three children, Lorenz, 13, Tate, 11 and Tia, eight, who looked on lovingly as their dad married the former TOWIE star.

All the pictures of the couple's special day will be available in OK! magazine, out nationwide on Tuesday.

Kate, who has become a mother figure to Rio's children, recently spoke about leaving her TOWIE fame behind and embracing family life.

She said: “I had two choices. I’m in this world with lots of drama and then I met Rio and the children, and, I thought, ‘I’m with these kids who have lost their mum. They don’t need a woman who is out all the time, they need someone at home with them.

“A really big part of our relationship and it working for the children is that we’ve included them in everything we’ve done."

The children's mother, Rebecca, died from breast cancer, aged 34, in 2015.

Lorenz, Tate and Tia also played a big part in Rio's proposal to Kate during their luxury family holiday to Dubai last year.

He took Kate to the top of the St Regis hotel in Abu Dhabi and proposed beneath the starry night sky in front of his three children; later announcing the news on Instagram with a series of heart-melting photos of the special moment.

Kate spoke about how much she enjoyed the wedding-planning process, saying that her past job as an events organiser prepared her for the mammoth task.

Speaking a few months ago, she said: “I used to be an events organiser, and I enjoy it all. I even enjoy organising drawers and cupboards.

“It’s really sad, but I love doing it. It’s my idea of fun. I do like a bit of Mrs Hinch – she inspires me. I’m not sure my cleaning is as good as hers, but my organising is!

“I have started planning the wedding very slowly. I do think about all the small things, which I think will help make the day even more special.

Marrying former Manchester United footballer Rio has been a dream come true for the beautiful blonde, previously telling OK! magazine: “I hoped I’d get married at some stage, so obviously I’m very happy and excited about that.

“It hasn’t panned out exactly how I imagined when I was a kid. Like most young girls I had the typical fairy tale in mind, but this is my own fairy tale. I can’t complain at all. I feel very lucky.”
