Lauren Simon has left fans in complete shock after claiming she's had sex with a ghost.

The 44 year old, who recently showed off her curves in a bikini as she went on holiday in Spain, made the revelation on the latest episode of Real Housewives of Cheshire.

The star headed to a psychic with her pal Nicole Sealey, 45, with the idea of reaching her late father but ended up recalling the supernatural story instead.

"I have to admit something really weird," Lauren started, before confessing: "I've had sex with a ghost."

The red haired beauty, whose co-star Nicole recently hit out at Lauren by calling her "over sensitive", went on to insist: "I actually properly had sex. I knew it wasn't a dirty dream because it was too real, like something was touching me.

"And I have had that before where I feel like somebody's holding me down and I can't get up."

Clearly unsure of what she was hearing, Nicole immediately said: "That's weird," before the psychic interjected to disagree. "That's not weird, that happens," she quipped.

Lauren continued: "This particular ghost that came and had sex, it happened twice, it was a very bizarre feeling but he never came back."

Feeling insecure about her abilities in bed, she then asked: "Does that mean I wasn't good in bed?"

The psychic explained that it didn't mean she had been ghosted by a ghost and said it was "normal" to have gone through that supernatural experience. She also said that people can have a "whispering" from ghosts as their worlds are intertwines.

Lauren responded: "I haven't had whispering but I have had full blown sex." She added: "I'm not going to be a ghostly booty call, I've got my self respect to think of."

It comes as Lauren recently opened up about her tough divorce from property tycoon husband Paul, who is the father of her two daughters, after 13 years of marriage.

"There was a time when I struggled to get out of bed. This divorce has been really difficult, and I was just exhausted from it all. I am very lucky that I’ve got amazing family and friends to get me through," she told OK!

"I’ve also relied heavily on mindfulness to counteract the negativity, and put positive thoughts and feelings into myself. Going to court once or twice a month is debilitating. People should be given a manual on how to get divorced because it’s the hardest thing that I’ve been through.

"Nothing lasts forever – good or bad – so I know there will be light at the end of the tunnel."
