Xisca Perello, 30, appeared serious as she watched on from the stands. Dressed in a black dress with a pretty floral pattern, she looked slightly apprehensive as she waited to watch her future husband, Rafael Nadal, compete in the men’s final of the French Open 2019. The business graduate wore her brunette locks in a loose down ‘do of curls and shielded her eyes from the sun behind a pair of dark glasses. She highlighted her svelte frame in the long-sleeved number, cinching in her waist with a black belt.

Last year, Rafael Nadal, 33, got engaged to his girlfriend after 14 years together.

The couple kept their engagement private for eight months.

Perello and Nadal prefer to keep their relationship out of the limelight.

In a rare interview with The Telegraph in 2011, she said: “Even if my family asks me about Rafael, I prefer not to say much.

“The fact is that I just don’t feel comfortable talking about these things, even in private.

“It’s what works for me and what works for Rafael and me as a couple,” she added. “We wouldn’t have it any other way.”

Nadal’s girlfriend Perello is a project director for his foundation, the Rafa Nadal Foundation.

The World Number 2 previously spoke out about his family plans, telling Argentine talk show Con Amigos Asi he wants to have children in the future.

“I would love to have children, boys, girls… I’m a person who loves kids and I’m a family guy,” he said.

“But also I tell you that the tally is… the years keep passing.”

He went on to say being on the road and travelling for his sport wasn’t “ideal” to be doing as a father.

“I would like to start to do all of this when my psortinglife determines it,” he added.

Nadal is taking Australian tennis player Dominic Thiem, 25, in the men’s final of the French Open 2019 this afternoon.

The Spaniard made it to his 12th French Open final after beating Roger Federer, 37, in the semi-final on Friday.

Today marks the second year running Nadal has gone up against Thiem in the final.
