Prince Harry, 36, has delivered a number of bombshell revelations about the Royal Family while over in the USA, where he now resides with his wife, Meghan Markle, 39. Lady Colin Campbell, 71, who wrote the book Meghan and Harry: The Real Story, has now claimed that the Duke of Sussex’s latest move is as “inappropriate as having sexual intercourse on television”.
It comes after the Duke volunteered to undergo psychotherapy on camera to demonstrate how “mental wellness is an ongoing pursuit”.
Prince Harry took part in an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EDMR) session as part of his new Apple TV+ series on mental health, with US talkshow host Oprah Winfrey, The Me You Can’t See.
Lady Campbell has claimed that there is “no justification” for the Duke to televise the therapy session.
The royal biographer explained that she “recoiled” over the idea of doing a TV therapy session.
“I also have grave reservations, as someone who has over the decades has had television people and writers wanting to do therapy on television on me and you know, I recoiled from things like that – it is inappropriate,” Lady Colin remarked.
She continued to the Daily Star: “It is as inappropriate to have a therapy session on television, just as it is to have sexual intercourse on television.
“Both of them are wildly inappropriate.”
The former I’m A Celebrity star explained that speaking about personal matters on a public platform is never appropriate.
Lady Colin commented: “It is a violation of not only the privacy of the person who is agreeing to it, but it is also just wrong in every way, shape or form.”
She added that a therapy session and sexual intercourse are both equally private matters and “Harry shares too much”.
The TV personality has launched a petition in a bid to take away Prince Harry’s royal title.
It has since reached 50,000 signatures on Change.org.

The Duke and Duchess Of Sussex stepped down from their royal roles last year.
According to the petition, some feel it would be best for the Duke Of Sussex to ask the Queen to put his titles into abeyance, meaning they would go into disuse – a move that can be revoked should things change down the line.
The royal couple moved to California following their departure from the Firm.
Lady Colin previously revealed that she decided to start the online petition after speaking with “many people” and she felt it “was the right thing to do”.
She said if Harry – whose father is Prince Charles and older brother is Prince William – did relinquish his royal titles then it would free him from the royal institution and allow him to pursue a media career “without consequence”.
“I started [the petition] because I think it’s the right thing to do. I have spoken to people, many people, who think it’s the right thing to do and it is the solution,” Lady Colin said.
She added: “It is the best solution because it frees Harry to be able to indulge himself without consequence and without doing damage to the institution of the monarchy of the British nation, the British people and himself.”
Since the couple’s departure from the Royal Family, Meghan and Harry had a tell-all interview with Oprah in March.
