Amanda Owen says she’s ‘half embarrassed’ of her hands

Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen took to social media and shared an emotional farewell to remember her friend. It comes after the shepherdess recently reached out to passionate hill-walker Debbie North, who announced her husband Andy North had died.
Taking to the micro-blogging site, the 46-year-old shared a series of photos where she honoured her pal.
It comes as Debbie penned: “Yesterday we said farewell to @SidekickAndy.
“His wish was to raise money to buy an all terrain wheelchair for children with disabilities for the Yorkshire Dales.”
In view of her 171,000 followers, Amanda offered some kind words as she penned a heartfelt tribute.

She wrote: “Delicate golden light through an ethereal gossamer veil that descended as we remembered @SidekickAndy.
“His wish was to be able to buy an all terrain wheelchair for children so they can venture into the wilds of Yorkshire.”
Amanda finished: “‘Are we nearly there yet?'”
The Yorkshire Shepherdess shared a link to a JustGiving page set up to raise money, which is already halfway to its target £12,000.
A fan reacted to the series of photos that accompanied the shepherdess’ post which included a sunset overlooking a bridge.
They wrote: “This one is like an oil painting Amanda; a fabulous photo.”
Amanda replied: “It was the strangest phenomena, a cold mist that was almost like wispy smoke. Apparently, though a sign of good weather to come.”
The Yorkshire Farm star’s post comes just days after she penned a tearful tribute following the news of Andy’s death.
Debbie shared that her other half had sadly died of cancer.

She penned: “With a heavy heart I announce that my beloved husband, @SidekickAndy lost his short fight with cancer and passed away yesterday 29th June.”
Amanda replied: “We will all miss @SidekickAndy Debs. Big love from us all.”
In 2008, Debbie was diagnosed with a chronic degenerative spine condition which has confined her to a wheelchair.
The motivational speaker and presenter has since continued to explore the outdoors and would often trek mountains and the Yorkshire Dales alongside Andy.
She also teamed up with TV presenter Julia Bradbury’s website The Outdoor Guide where Debbie highlights wheel-friendly walks in a bid to make the countryside more accessible to the public.
The shepherdess has worked alongside Debbie for The Outdoor Guide including at Countryfile Live.
Debbie also films her wheel-friendly adventures around particular hotspots in the UK.
Meanwhile, Amanda often shares details of farming life on her Channel 5 show Our Yorkshire Farm.
