Yorkshire Shepherdess Amanda Owen, 46, took to Twitter tonight to address a viewer’s complaint about how late Our Yorkshire Farm airs on Tuesday evenings. The programme starts at 9pm on Channel 5, which one fan argued was too late for her children to stay up and tune in.
The viewer shared the issue after Amanda gushed over the viewing figures that the latest series of her show is currently achieving.
She penned in view of her 158,000 followers: “Nearly FOUR MILLION people tuned in !
“So if you didn’t know about it then now you do !
“Join us all TONIGHT at 9pm on @channel5_tv for the next episode of #ouryorkshirefarm

However, one fan responded by sharing their disappointment about where the show appears in the TV schedules, making it impossible for family viewing.
They wrote back: “It would be great if Channel put the show on before 9 o’clock, so our 2 children could watch,” alongside a woman shrugging emoji.
Fortunately for the viewer, Amanda was quick to respond by sharing a way to resolve the mum-of-two’s concerns.
“I think that they repeat the show on Saturday early evening,” she hit back alongside a thinking face emoji.
Fans took to the comments section of Amanda’s tweet to share their thoughts.
One person penned: “It would be great for the youngsters to watch this. These children are so delightful, manners, their way of thinking of each other…such feel good viewing…love it.”
Another added: “Now this is helpful because I recorded The Yorkshire Vet instead of Our Yorkshire Farm.”

Amanda enjoys keeping her followers up to date with her family’s antics and daily lives at Ravenseat Farm in the Dales.
Amanda and husband Clive Owen have nine children, Clemmy, five, Annas, six, Violet, nine, Edith, 11, Raven, 18, Nancy, three, Reuben, 16, Miles, 14, and Sidney, eight.
The couple’s “free-range” children enjoy exploring the Yorkshire countryside and often get stuck in working with their parents on the farm.
Elsewhere, Amanda shared how she was feeling both “excited” and “scared” as she announced the family had purchased a new farmhouse on Channel 5’s Our Yorkshire Farm.
The property hadn’t been lived in for decades when they bought it but Amanda explained it was a “no-brainer”.
Amanda continued: “I couldn’t believe it when I bought it. I was like, ‘Oh what have I done!’
“It’s so exciting but scary as well as it’s a big undertaking.”
