The Vice President of the United States is about to get a new son-in-law.

Mike Pence’s 26-year-old daughter, Charlotte, announced over the weekend that her boyfriend, Henry Bond, popped the question in a romantic beach proposal. “I said ‘yes,’ and then I said ‘thanks’ a lot because I didn’t know what else to say,” she wrote. “I love you. Let’s do this.”

Charlotte is currently pursuing her master’s degree at Harvard Divinity School, where she recently finished her first year. She’s a published author of three books, including 2018’s “Where You Go: Life Lessons From My Father.” Her future husband is a 2015 graduate of the US Naval Academy, according to his LinkedIn page.
