Marilyn Manson, who stayed away from social media following several serious sexual assault and abuse allegations for about a year, recently took to Instagram to tease some new music.

“I’ve got something for you to hear,” Manson captioned black-and-white photos of himself singing into a microphone. He also tagged his wife, Lindsay Usich, as the photographer.

Manson also shared a photo of himself and his wife holding candles from her Instagram page, which she had captioned, “There is light in the darkness.”

Manson turned off comments under the photo.

Manson’s last release was We Are Chaos, which arrived in 2020.

Manson has not provided any information about the music he plans to release or the likely release date.

The new music will be the first from the singer after several women, including Evan Rachel Wood, Ashley Waters, Illma Gore, accused him of sexual assault.
