Kirk Franklin‘s song “Love Theory” has achieved the remarkable feat of topping Billboard‘s Hot Gospel Songs Chart for the 25th consecutive week.

Taken from the 13-time Grammy Award-winning gospel singer’s most recent album, Long, Live, Love, the song joins Franklin’s “Wanna Be Happy?” from his 2015 collection Losing My Religion, to become one of two songs from his 27-year-long career to have reigned the charts for a minimum of 25 weeks, with the latter having remained at the No. 1 position for a total of 45 weeks.

Currently on tour across the country, Franklin is next set to play at Caesars Atlantic City on Saturday and at the Beacon Theatre in New York on Sunday.
