It’s been ten years since Kate Gosselin’s split from Jon Gosselin, and it seems that she’s finally beginning to overcome the trauma of being married to a dude who launched a DJ-ing career in his forties.

Yes, Kate is ready to date once again, and because TLC is convinced audiences still care about the cantankerous mother of eight, she’ll re-enter the singles scene in the company of a camera crew.

A new trailer for Kate Plus Date premiered today, and apparently, at some point in her decade of singledom, Kate surrendered her humanity and became a walking Wine Mom meme.

“I don’t even know, like, what the rules are,” Gosselin says in the trailer while mugging like a Kristen Wiig character.

“Can somebody help me out here?”

Fortunately for Kate, it seems that she will have some help — a lot of it, in fact.

Not only will she be aided by a team of matchmakers, she’ll also be receiving assistance from twin daughters her twin daughters, Madelyn and Cara, both 18.

Reality TV matchmakers don’t have the greatest track record, but fortunately, Madelyn and Cara are here to ask the tough questions.

“Do you wear cargo pants?” they ask one of Kate’s suitors.

Seems like a reasonable query to us.

Although we’re pretty sure cargo pants are on the verge of making an ironic comeback, so we’re not certain what response they’re looking for on that one.

It’s anyone’s guess as to whether or not Kate is as angry as we remember, but the trailer hints that she’s not tolerating any BS from these dudes auditioning to be her next punching bag.

“I just, I don’t know that we have a connection, really,” she tells one brokenhearted bachelor.

That’s actually a pretty civil way to give someone the brush-off, but here’s hoping TLC is saving the fireworks for the actual show.

“They were strictly blind dates, but I didn’t even know, really, their names, until minutes before,” Kate told the Television Critics Association in February.

“A lot of the awkwardness, uncomfortable terrified reactions came from the fact that they were hit or miss. It’s a very difficult concept, and this is a very real show in that I am really looking for someone.”

As for her ex, Jon Gosselin is already throwing shade.

“I don’t think anyone can [find love on TV]. I think you need to find it [organically],” he recently told Us Weekly.

Kate Plus Date premieres June 10, and we’re really, really hoping Jon makes a cameo as a surprise blind date.
