YouTube star Joe Sugg, 29, suffered an unfortunate wardrobe issue while filming new TV show The Syndicate this week. The 2018 Strictly Come Dancing finalist, who will make his acting debut in the BBC One drama, revealed to fans via social media that he had to wear “t*t tape” while shooting scenes on a cold October morning.

Joe, who is currently hosting the official Strictly podcast, said he wasn’t prepared for the pain they would cause on removal.

He posted four funny pictures on Instagram which captured his discomfort as he whipped the sticky plaster-like tape off.

Alongside the photos, which he shared with his 5.4 million followers, Joe wrote: “You’ll be surprised to know that I don’t often wear t*t tape.”

He then went on to add: “But one blustery, cold, rainy morning whilst filming #thesyndicate my nips started taking a battering from the elements.”

“Luckily the crew were on hand to provide the tape…” he revealed.

Joe, who is dating his former Strictly partner Dianne Buswell, continued: “Little did I know how painful it is to take this stuff off… I don’t even need nipples ffs,” he joked.

The social media star signed off: “Shout out to the t*t tape troopers that have to do this on the regular. I salute ya.”

“Well that’s a caption I never thought I’d read on the gram of joe_sugg,” one surprised fan wrote in the comments section of the post.

The show, which is being filmed in Leeds, follows the lives of five supermarket workers who win the lottery together.
