Hayley Tamaddon has announced she's engaged to her partner Adrian, just three weeks after confirming she was expecting her first baby at the age of 42.
The former Emmerdale actress broke her latest happy news on Twitter as she proudly showed off her impressive diamond engagement ring.
"HE PROPOSED ………….. I said YES!!!! This year is turning out to be quite wonderful," said Hayley in the caption.
Celebrity pals including James Jordan and Candice Brown were among the first to congratulate her
Hayley is gearing herself up for a busy year after revealing only last month that she's expecting her first child.
The soap star said the news came as a surprise as she was told for years that she wasn't able to conceive.
Making the announcement in April, Hayley told fans: "EXCITING NEWS TWEET!! I'm so pleased to tell you all… I’m expecting my first child with my wonderful boyfriend Adrian!!" she told her fans.
"I've always wanted to be a mum and didn't think I could have children. And now, at the ripe old age of 42 – I'M PREGNANT! We couldn't be happier."
In the gorgeous picture, beaming Hayley proudly poses in her garden with her hands over her bump.
Hayley found love with her partner Adrian two years ago, after splitting from Joe Tracini.
She'd previously hit headlines over her long-term relationship with then-married Marcus Brigstocke , who walked out on his wife of 12 years to be with Hayley.
Before him, Hayley was engaged to dancer and choreographer Darren Charles, who admitted to cheating on her while she was filming Dancing On Ice in 2010 – the series she went on to win.
During her relationship with Marcus, Hayley told the Mirror that she wanted children in the future.
"I'm a very happy girl at the moment. I'm doing everything that I love to do. My family are very proud of me," she said at the time.
"My body feels 37 but I still feel 21. I sometimes forget that I'm going to be 40. It would be lovely to have kids in the future but for now my main concentration is my work."
She continued: "I'm not scared of nappies or screaming babies but I'm just not at that point.
"Not many of my friends have settled down either. I'm a workaholic. It's always work, work, work, I can't switch it off."
