A Florida rapper’s next performance might be in jail.
Trick Daddy, 45, was busted by Miami police for drunk driving Saturday morning. The musician, whose real name is Maurice Samuel Young, was pulled over shortly after leaving a local nightclub. The rapper, who was barely awake and slurring his words, said he had five drinks at a local club and failed a field sobriety test, according to a police report.
After being booked police found cocaine on Young, wrapped inside a one dollar bill, the Miami Herald reported. Police charged him with cocaine possession and driving under the influence.
A $6,000 bond was set for both charges.
It’s far from the first time the rapper has found himself on the wrong side of the law in the Sunshine state. In 2014 he faced felony charges of illegal firearms possession. He was also booked for assault in 2003 after threatening a man’s life in a dispute during a game of street basketball.
