Danniella Westbrook is currently in hospital after suffering an undisclosed illness.

The 47-year-old shared the news with her social media followers as she posted a photo to Instagram Stories from outside the hospital building, captioning it: “Back in hospital.”

Only two days ago, Danniella was photographed enjoying a night out with a friend, looking noticeably different after having fresh fillers and Botox.

OK! has contacted a representative for Danniella for comment.

Danniella often shares health updates with her followers, and has previously spoken candidly about her struggles with addiction.

The actress has entered rehab several times in a bid to overcome cocaine addiction, and she confessed last month that she had relapsed again following her most recent stay in a rehabilitation centre.

“It’s no secret since leaving rehab I’ve slipped and slides more than I have been straight I guess,” she captioned an honest Instagram post.

“I know the best years of my whole adult life was the 14 years I spent clean and sober. So today’s the day I go back own my s*** pick up the newcomers ring with pride not shame," she continued.

“I’m ready to re work every step, I’m excited to be off service and do what I’m called to giving back to others seeking a solution thanks to this three-fold illness of alcoholism and addiction.

"I haven’t had a rock bottom this time I’m just all over the whole vicious circle that is this crippling disease that stops me from being the best me I can be and from reaching my full potential.”

Daniella went on further to discuss the details of her relapse and share her hopes for recovery.

She wrote: “I was meant for more than this and these last few years f***ing about has shown me, that cocaine and champagne ain’t got the high I want.”

The actress started using cocaine when she was just 14 years old.

Danniella’s addiction problems became public after she was photographed with a deviated septum on a night out.

She was reported to have spent £250,00 to fuel her cocaine habit.

Danniella later got clean and stayed that way for 14 years. However she has been open about not being able to sustain her recovery, even going as far as appearing on The Jeremy Kyle Show to appeal for help.
