Dancing On Ice star Caprice Bourget is set to take legal action against ITV.

The 48 year old is reportedly ready to sue the network after making complaints about Hamish Gaman’s “gaslighting” behaviour.

Caprice is said to have highlighted the psychological manipulation she was subjected to and said she would quit Dancing On ice unless she was partnered up with someone else.

Relations between Hamish and the American model became so strained that a supervisor had to be brought in to watch over the pair’s training sessions.

A crew member said: “Hamish is an incredibly hard taskmaster and was pushing Caprice beyond her capabilities.

“She was giving it her all but felt like it was never enough. He was relentless, and basically gaslighted her.

“His bullying wore Caprice down. She complained to execs, yet not much was done besides bringing in a supervisor.

“Instead she was portrayed as a diva, which couldn’t be further from the truth.

“Caprice won’t stand for bullying in the workplace, and has been advised she has grounds to go legal. For now, she wants to give her all to the show.”

Despite the drama off the ice Caprice is determined to show that she has what it takes on the show.

Writing exclusively in his OK! online column, DOI choreographer Dan Whiston said: “What with Caprice Bourret and her pro Hamish Gaman parting company, it’s been an unusual week to say the least.

“She’s back and we have spent a bit of time with her, and she seems determined to get as much time on the ice as she possibly can.

“In all 12 series that I've worked on the show we've never been in a situation where a celebrity couple have parted company, so like the rest of the nation, I'm interested to see how things pan out.

“Hamish has also been back in rehearsals with me for a routine coming up, and he still remains a very important part of the Dancing on Ice professional team.”
