Britain’s Got Talent: Viewers convinced Lil Icons member called Declan Donnelly the C-word live on air

Britain’s Got Talent contestants Lil Icons may not have got through to the show’s final, but they certainly surprised viewers when they seemed to use the C-word.

The dance group opened Thursday’s edition of the live shows, and it began as one of the group’s members interrupted Ant and Dec’s introduction and shouted ‘cut’.

However some fans of the show misheard and believed the girl had dropped the c-bomb whilst the show was live on air.

While another questioned: ‘Did this little girl just call Dec a c***?’

And another viewer went on: ‘Did the Lil Icons girl just shout c*** into the mic?’

However their efforts weren’t enough to get them through to the final round, as it was magician Ben Hart and singer Mark McMullan who reached the grand finale.

Ben mystified with his act, as the trickster placed a cup and saucer on the judges panel and made a match disappear from his mouth and into the pack of matches that were in Alesha Dixon’s hands.

Mark, meanwhile, moved the judges and audience with his emotional rendition of You Will Be Found from the musical Dear Evan Hanson, which was dedicated to his brother Declan who has Locked-In Syndrome.

MailOnline has contacted a BGT spokesperson for comment.
