Harry Styles won his third Grammy at the 65th annual Grammy 2023 awards, and the As It Was hitmaker looked overjoyed when he was announced a winner.
Harry, 29, was announced as Best Album winner after beating his fellow nominees – ABBA, Adele, Bad Bunny, Beyoncé, Brandi Carlile, Coldplay, Kendrick Lamar, Lizzo, and Mary J Blige.
But as he took to the stage when he was announced the winner of the category for his fourth solo album – Harry's House – audience members were heard shouting "Beyonce" inside the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
"There's no such thing as best in music," Harry said while accepting the award.
"I don't think any of us sit in studios thinking about what is going to get us one of these. This is so, so kind. This doesn't happen to people like me very often. This is so, so nice. Thank you very, very much."
He added: "This album from start to finish has been the greatest experience of my life. Thank you so much."
Following his victory, his mum Anne Twist, shared how proud she is of her former One Direction star son.
"You've always been our superstar @harrystyles," she wrote on Instagram.
The much-anticipated evening also saw Harry perform a rendition of his song As It Was as he wore a silver T-shirt and sequined trousers for his performance.
Beyoncé was fighting back her tears when she won Best Dance/Electronic album for her masterpiece, Renaissance.
The 41 year old became the most decorated Grammy artist of all time as her latest win took her total to 32.
The singer's total of Grammys is just one more than the previous record, which was held by Hungarian-British conductor Georg Solti, who died in 1997.
Taking to the stage, Beyoncé said: “I’m trying not to be too emotional. I’m trying to just receive this night. I want to thank God for protecting me… I’d like to thank my uncle Johnny who is not here but he is here in spirit.
“I’d like to thank my parents, my father, my mother, for loving me, for pushing me. I’d like to thank my beautiful husband, my beautiful children who are watching at home.”
British TV host James Corden presented the award to Beyoncé, and the comedian said it was an “honour” to be given the duty.
“We are witnessing history tonight,” he said, before announcing the result.
Beyoncé also won best R&B song with her hit track CUFF IT and best traditional R&B performance.
