Strictly: Adam Thomas and Luba Mushtuk dance to Waffle House
Adam Thomas had admitted to his famous brothers that his Strictly Come Dancing partner Luba looks similar to his wife, Caroline, while laughing off their quips about the show’s so-called “curse”.
The Emmerdale favourite was speaking to his brothers Scott and Ryan during an episode of their podcast, Mancs on the Mic.
Ryan, who previously played Jason Grimshaw in Coronation Street, quizzed his brother about any “juicy gossip” that’s happened so far on the show.
“The Strictly curse has happened,” said Adam. “I know I couldn’t believe it myself! Me and Luba honestly – no, I am joking.”
“Everybody says that Luba looks like Caroline though?” quipped Scott.

“She does. She does,” agreed Adam, which led to Scott cheering in response.
The so-called ‘Strictly curse’ refers to the idea that participating in Strictly – as a celebrity or a professional – threatens the status of the relationship you’re in when you sign up.
He has been partnered with Russian dancer Luba Mushtuk, who also has blonde hair, just like Adam’s wife.

Prior to his first live performance, Adam admitted that he and Caroline have argued over his lack of dance experience.
Speaking to The Sun, he said: “She’s a dance teacher. But no, she’s not given me any tips.
“We literally had this argument the other day because I was like, ‘Why have you not taught me how to dance after all these years I’ve been with you?’
“And she was like, ‘Well, you’ve never taught me how to act.'”
Adam also shared that he was “belittled” by his brothers when he first told them that he has signed up for the BBC dance competition.
“They just laughed,” he said. “They were like, ‘I don’t understand why you’d want to do a show when you cannot dance.’
“Again, that’s why we’re here, to learn how to dance. Everybody wants to see the progression through the series, and I’ll definitely give them that.”
Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One on Saturday at 6.15pm.
