NETFLX has given fans a first look at their new Tomb Raider reboot but some fans have been left unsure of the new Lara Croft show.
The popular video game and film franchise has been re-imagined for a new animated streaming TV series on the platform.
Gritty in tone, it seems the show will be exploring a darker side, as seen in recent editions of the hit video game.
The new spin-off will be entitled Tomb Raider: The Legend Of Lara Croft and will make its debut on Netflix some time in 2024 with an exact date yet to be revealed.
Netflix first revealed the project back in 2021 so fans will be delighted to finally get to see what has been years in the making.
However, it was clear that the dropping of the first look trailer left some of them feeling a little unsure.

Many admitted they wished the programme was live-action as opposed to an animated production.
Adding a series of tearful emoji's, one fan appeared saddened as they wrote: "I thought [it was] live action."
Another seemed disappointed as they added: "Should have been based on the classic, not the survivor. Oh well… I'll skip this one."
Before a third fumed: "Oh so everything's getting animated now?"
