Hollywood A-lister Ryan Reynolds boldly claimed that a curry house in a small Cheshire town had the ‘best Indian food in Europe’ to his 44m Instagram followers.
The Wrexham co-owner lionized the Light of India Balti House in Ellesmere Port and posted a picture of the restaurant’s flyer on his Instagram story on Saturday night.
The Deadpool actor dined there after watching Wrexham FC crush National League opponents Maidstone United 5-0 at the Racecourse Ground.
Mr Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are in Britain ahead of the release of the Disney+ documentary on their time as co-chairmen of the Welsh club.

The duo’s took over the Dragons in February 2021 for an eye-watering $2.5m.
Since their arrival they have splashed after copping highly-related Football League players including Liam McAlinden, Lee Camp, Paul Mullin and Ben Tozer.
They also managed to lure AFC Wimbledon star man Ollie Palmer for a club-record fee of £300,000 in January.
When the club’s home shirt which went on sale in July 2021 official replicas were sold out in 48 hours.
Wrexham came 2nd in the National League last year which was not enough to gain them an automatic promotion spot.
The Welsh giants lost to Grimsby in the play-off semi-final in a thrilling 5-4 game.
Reynolds and McElhenney’s side were favourites to win the league at the start of the season and currently sit 5th in the table after four games.
Mr Reynolds’s net worth is expected to be more than $150m.
