A MUM has issued a heartbreaking warning after her daughter was left brain damaged following a motorbike crash.
University researcher Dilara Aldanoglu, 24, has been left fighting for her life after she lost half her head in a horrific accident.
Dilara has spent the past five months on a respirator, in a hospital intensive care unit in Izmir, western Turkey.
The 24-year-year old suffered serious head injuries after a car crashed into her motorbike as she was on her way to a surprise family visit on New Year's Eve.
The pillion passenger Dilara – who was not wearing a crash helmet – slammed into the car's windscreen and suffered massive brain trauma and internal bleeding.
It later emerged that the car driver, named as Isa E., 26, did not have a driver’s licence at the time.
