Carla Connor (Alison King) will offer some advice to Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) in Coronation Street as Lydia Chambers’ (Rebecca Ryan) revenge towards Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) dramatically escalates.
With Sarah distracted, Adam texts Lydia from her phone and later meets up with her in a coffee shop.
After attempting to record her on his phone, Adam asserts he’s had enough of her games and tries to wrestle his phone back.
When Adam tells Lydia it’s time she told Sarah the truth, she’s seething, realising it’s still the same old Adam.
As Daniel (Rob Mallard) scours the shopping centre for Adam, having heard from Sarah that he’s gone to meet Lydia, he hears a noise coming from the balcony.
In a fit of rage, Lydia slaps Adam and gives him an almighty shove.
The next day, with Adam in hospital, Ken (William Roache) and Daniel quiz him about his fall and suggest that Lydia is to blame.
Meanwhile, Peter (Chris Gascoyne) breaks the news to Sarah who asserts that Adam’s no longer her problem.
However, when Carla urges Sarah to be there for him when he wakes up, will Sarah change her mind?
Most importantly, what impact will the fall have on Adam’s life?
