Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) is back in EastEnders and turning her attention to romance in upcoming episodes.

Viewers will remember when the iconic character returned, her opening scenes were with newcomer Zack (James Farrar) – who took nephew Albie to see a private doctor – who just so happened to be Janine!

As Janine’s ordeal with Scarlett continues, she’s looking for a job but understandably, she’s not exactly flooded with offers.

Meanwhile, after Nancy (Maddy Hill) dumped Zack, he joins Martin (James Bye) in the club and they drown their sorrows.

Dr Cole finds Janine to entice her to come back to their scam and later on, things start to heat up between Janine and Zack…but where will things lead?

Lovesick Zack has no idea of Janine’s history, so if Sharon (Letitia Dean) discovers what her brother is up to, will she let him know of the character’s murderous history?

Or allow Zack to potentially walk into danger?

If Janine is insistent on changing her ways for Scarlett, what could this mean for a potential new relationship?
