MIKE TYSON has labelled Jake Paul 'ridiculous' but is adamant the YouTuber is 'good for boxing'.
Paul made it 3-0 as a pro when he KO'd former UFC star Ben Askren inside a round earlier this month.
The outspoken social media star is determined to make it big in the sport, calling out Love Island star Tommy Fury as a potential opponent in the future.
Fury would be the first 'proper' boxer Paul has faced in the ring.
And Tyson, who became one of the most feared fighters in the noble art, is not against internet stars taking to boxing.
Speaking on the latest edition of his Hotboxin' podcast, the 54-year-old said: "That's why this stuff is good, because the real m****r f*****s don't want to fight each other.
"That's why those guys like Jake Paul, he came on my show, you know why, cause he's got 75million f***ing viewers.
"Not a lot of champions got that s**t so he's good for boxing.
"Is he kind of ridiculous, yeh, but is he good for boxing, f**k yeh. Boxing needs s**t like that."
Iron Mike was then asked what he thought about Paul 'getting in the ring with another boxer'.

Iron Mike answered: "That's up to him. He should try it. I think he should."
After he battered Askren, Paul pleaded to be taken seriously.
He said: "This is the craziest moment of my life.
"I told y'all I was gonna do it in the first round. I told y'all I'm a real fighter.
"I don't know how many times I've got to prove myself that this is for real."
