Liverpool turned into one huge party last night after the Reds' 2-0 win against Tottenham in the Champions League final.

But it seemed a few revellers took the celebrations a little too far as some were seen stumbling in the street and others had to be propped up by their friends.

Two women looked in high spirits as they celebrated the victory – with one donning a traffic cone for a hat.

A rather sozzled man is also pictured being be propped up by his two mates – but still skillfully managed to hold onto his cigarette.

Later he appeared to be carted away by his friends – presumably for a sit down and the chance to sober up.

And another group of friends appeared to be deep in conversation despite being surrounded by huge piles of rubbish.

The celebrations continued long into the night with Jurgen Klopp hailing the success as the best moment of his career.

The festivities started as soon as referee Damir Skomina blew the final whistle to bring the match to a close.

One woman donned a novel hair piece in the form of a Bag for Life as she made her way home while another partygoer appeared to do the limbo under a Liverpool scarf.

Another fan, with a Liverpool scarf draped over her shoulders, cheekily stuck her tongue out at the camera and flung her arms into the air.

While other revellers were pictured looking a little worse for wear with one man sat in the street with his head in his hands and another leaning against a shop window.

Fans who had travelled to see their side beat their Premier League rivals in Madrid also partied into the night.

The Reds came out on top thanks to goals from Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi.

However, the game was briefly halted by a pitch invader in the first half when prankster Kinsey Wolanski invaded the pitch wearing a skimpy black leotard.

Play had to be momentarily halted after she jumped over the advertising hoardings and sprinted across the Wanda Metropolitano pitch.

Wolanski, who was promoting her boyfriend's adult prank group, Vitaly Uncensored, was arrested before later being released.

Liverpool's victory will also provide a significant boost to the Anfield coffers due to the prize money on offer in the Champions League.

Klopp's men will earn just under £17million for lifting the trophy – adding to the total they have already received over the course of the competition.
