After releasing collaborations with Supreme and Norse Projects earlier this year, heritage outerwear label Barbour has now teamed up with NOAH. The latest joint release sees the New York-based label add its distinctive aesthetic to a number of Barbour items, with the stand-out pieces featuring the British label’s signature waxed cotton.

Arguably the key pieces in the collection are the waxed cotton jackets. For this collaboration, NOAH has dressed the Bedale jacket in a bright yellow color complete with large NOAH logo on the rear. The second item is the Beaufort Wax which comes in a patchwork design with sections of navy, olive, black and “Bordeaux.” Both coats feature Barbour’s classic checked lining.

Other waxed cotton pieces include holdall bags — in both yellow or the same patchwork design — as well as a bucket hat. Elsewhere, NOAH and Barbour have partnered on a co-branded hoodie and a selection of T-shirts featuring imagesfrom ’80s and ’90s catalogues on the front and the collection’s slogan, “Who Cares If It Rains?” on the reverse.1 of 11

Launching the collection, Noah Co-Founder and Creative Director Brendon Babenzien said, “Many of us have been wearing Barbour for years and feel a real connection to the Barbour lifestyle — and I think a genuine connection is absolutely paramount in developing a strong collaboration.”

“Because we have such tremendous respect for the Barbour products already, we decided to keep the changes incredibly simple and subtle. We really only wanted a bit of NOAH to enter the conversation; too many updates to an already incredible product and you could spoil it. We experiment with traditional themes in our design every day and try to make the most subtle adjustments that are simultaneously holding to classic style but evolving just enough to feel new and unique. This collaboration gave us the perfect opportunity to do that.”
