Cops are looking for a man who attacked his Lyft driver after demanding he go faster on the way to a Queens hospital last Thursday.
The caught-on-camera beating of Eduardo Madiedo occurred as he drove the suspect and an unidentified woman to Mount Sinai Hospital in Astoria, according to NBC.
Shortly after getting picked up, the anguished suspect rested his head on the woman’s lap and continuously moaned in pain as Madiedo drove.
The distressed suspect then stripped off his sweatshirt and pressed Madiedo to “driver faster,” according to the video obtained by the network.
Madiedo let his fare know that he couldn’t go faster because of traffic.
“Well I would have been in that right lane and found that hole right there,” the suspect said before cursing and launching an all-out attack on Madiedo.
The suspect leaned forward and repeatedly punched the driver with both hands, prompting the woman to plead with him to stop.
“Oh my god, please stop. Georgie, oh my god,” the woman cried out.
The passengers left the 2017 Ford Explorer, but the suspect came back to land a few more blows on Madiedo through the window before fleeing.
Madiedo refused medical attention and told NBC he’s unsure if he’ll continue to drive for Lyft.
