A Mary-Jane loving couple have gone to extremes to demonstrate their passion for weed by getting married in a cannabis-themed wedding.
Their big day came complete with a cannabis bar and a special ‘wedding day bong’.
Clara Higgins, 30, and her husband, Dusty Higgins, 40, bond through their love for marijuana.
The stoner couple, who live in Grand Junction, Colorado, met when the romantic man loaned her a joint.
Clara had been working at a local bar at the time.
In 2017, the weed-heads married at their home ranch and decided to celebrate their union by smoking more of the green stuff.
Their wedding featured a fully-stocked cannabis bar which was loaded with bongs, pipes and varieties of the drug alongside weed edibles.

Clara said: “Cannabis is a huge part of our lives, all of our friends use cannabis, we are in the cannabis industry and I wanted weed instead of wine!
“I wanted to have a different wedding, one that represented our love. We are very non-traditional in some ways so the cannabis-themed wedding was important.
“Not all of our guests used cannabis but they respect what we do.”
She continued: “We had a cannabis bar, where we had pipes and bongs and 10 different flower varieties to choose from, concentrates and edibles.
“The ‘cannabar’ was set up with pipes, bongs, rolling papers and a variety of different strains, concentrates and edibles.”
The couples cannabis “garden” was visible behind the reception and guests could see the plants growing.
Clara also had a custom-made wedding bong made by Oregon cannabis company Noble Glass.
After their vows, the couple kissed and then were handed the wedding bong by the officiate to take a puff each.
Clara said: “I had a custom wedding bong made from Noble Glass, and that created a whole other business for me.
“I met Noble Glass at a trade show the year before I was married. I fell in love with their work and purchased a collection for our store.”
The couple now own a cannabis company, The Bee Dynasty, which sells custom bongs including wedding bongs.
She went on: “I was planning my wedding and was thinking wow, it would be so special to have a bong made just for us on that day.
"I am truly in love with it. It was a gift, but the price of the style I requested was about $400 (£307).
Clara posted a video of her smoking the bong in her wedding dress online – and it’s since gone viral with over half a million views.
Clara says that she smokes everyday, but that different strains affect her differently.
As a mum-of-two she says that smoking cannabis helps her to manage her stress and that she doesn’t like alcohol as it makes her feel sluggish and gives her hangovers.
She said: “The difference between the relief from alcohol and cannabis are very different. You don't lose your inhibitions for one, you aren’t masking a problem, you end up working through it.
“I am a completely functional human being when I smoke cannabis and use a very small amount during the day.
“I prefer smoking CBD during the day to help keep my anxiety away and help me manage my back pain, and smoke THC in the evening…
"Some strains make me feel really hungry, some make me feel motivated like a coffee would.
“That’s the beauty about the plant is different strains offer different solutions, finding the right strain is so important in managing your pain, stress, insomnia, appetite and more.”

The 30-year-old started smoking when she was 17, and sees it as a “medicine” which allows her to feel happy.
She first tried the substance when her friends held her down and made her smoke a joint – something she thanks them for.
Clara claims she was always stressed before she tried it due to being the child of a single, immigrant mother and their subsequent money troubles.
She said: “After I smoked that first time a sense of relief washed over my body and I laughed, I laughed for almost 2 hours and never felt that carefree and happy ever.
“I didn't realise then, the power of cannabis as a medicine. Now as an adult, I use cannabis in many ways, lotions edibles, tinctures and more.”
