LABOUR MP Jon Ashworth will be joining the panel tonight for BBC Question time.
But who is he? Here's a little bit about Mr Ashworth.
Jon, 41, is a British Labour and Co-operative Party Politician and has been an MP for Leicester South since 2011.
He is the current Shadow Secretary for State for Health.
Appearing on Sophy Ridge recently, Jon called plans for a December 9 election an 'optimistic stunt'
He said: "I mean it's entirely ridiculous.
“It would need cross-party support to get through the House of Commons procedures and then it would be subject to all kinds of amendments, particularly when it gets into the House of Lords.
“It's just a stunt so the Lib Dems can get on the telly today."
In May this year he made headlines after highlighting how face-to-face consultations for STIs has fallen by 85,000.
The total number of contacts with sexual health services has dropped by 245,000 since 2015/16.
Figures from Public Health England show about 420,000 STIs were diagnosed in England in 2017.
Labour will use an Opposition Day Motion in the House of Commons on Tuesday to try and force the Government to reverse cuts to public health budgets.
Mr Ashworth said: ““These deep cuts to sexual health services are completely short-sighted and will only lead to wider pressures on the NHSin the long term.
“The government can’t be taken seriously on their commitment to prevention while at the same time cutting vital services that provide contraception, tackle sexually transmitted infections and offer crucial support and advice.”
