It is understood Her Royal Highness is not experiencing any symptoms, but is following all relevant government guidelines and is self-isolating at home.

The Sun understands she has not come into contact with any members of the Royal Family, apart from her own direct family, this week.

On October 4, she ran the first 1.5 miles of their Virtual London Marathon along the Long Walk, Windsor Great Park.

Just a few days before that, she fed alpacas with husband Prince Edward.

Prince Charles, 71, tested positive for coronavirus earlier this year.

Meanwhile the Queen has been in a "bubble" to protect the 94-year-old from the pandemic.

Sophie married Prince Edward, the Queen's youngest son, in 1999.

The Earl and Countess have two children Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn.

Louise, 16, and son James, 12, recently joined their parents on Southsea beach, Portsmouth for the Great British Beach Clean.
